FOSMI proudly conducted its 64th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 12 September 2025 at The Park, Kolkata.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. P.K. Das, Joint Director, MSME DFO Kolkata, and Mr. Utpal Bhadra, IAS, Senior Special Secretary, Fire & Emergency Services, Government of West Bengal. They addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights on strengthening the MSME ecosystem and fostering sustainable growth.
As part of the AGM, a seminar themed MSME 360°: Finance, Safety and Technology for a Resilient Future was held. Experts from leading organizations such as AXIS Bank, Tata Power Solar, and Tata AIA Life Insurance delivered insightful presentations. Additionally, Ms. Anjana Dikshit, Director of BlueBeakes Solution, conducted a special session on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for MSMEs, opening new avenues for innovation and efficiency.

Celebration of World MSME Day and 66th Foundation Day of FOSMI organised by FOSMI on 27th June 2025 at The Park. Shri U. Swaroop, IAS, Director, Directorate of MSME, Government of West Bengal was the Chief Guest. Shri Jay Prakash Majumdar, Vice Chairman, WBSIDCL and Shri Sitanath Mukherjee, IEDS, Asstt. Director, Gr. I, MSME-DFO, Kolkata were the Guests of Honour. The programme was supported by Q Industrial Park, Yes Bank, IDFC Bank, Evolve Energy Group, Urban Engineering Association and others. On the occasion the Federation honoured its Past Presidents Shri R. K. Daga, Shri D. K. Mohta and Shri Pradeep Rawat for their invaluable leadership and dedication over the decades to the Federation.

FOSMI organised an International Conference on Supply chain Social Sustainability in MSME on 8 November 2024 at The Park and the programme was supported by the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. The Conference witnessed 160+ participants and there were 4 International Speakers from Denmark, Vietnam, Thailand and Nepal. 10 Foreign speakers joined virtually also. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Rajesh Pandey, IAS, Principal Secretary, MSME&T Department, Government of West Bengal. The programme was a grand success.

63rd Annual General Meeting of FOSMI and an interactive session on Delayed Payment in association with WBMSEFC, Govt. of WB held on 27 September 2024 at Calcutta Club Ltd.

On the evening of September 27, 2024 FOSMI organised a networking dinner as part of its 63rd AGM The event provided an excellent opportunity for members to connect, exchange ideas and foster new buisness relationships. The participation of the Senior Govt. of Officials in the dinner further elevated the evening, bringing valuable insides and making the dinner memorable and enriching event for all attendees

Vendor Development Program 

FOSMI organised an International Conference on MSMEs: Embracing to Circular Economy under the approval of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India on 9th February 2024 at Hotel Park Prime, Kolkata. Speakers from across the globe namely Russia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Nepal were present physically and there were speakers from Hungary, Norway, Brazil, Japan, Thailand, Hongkong, Italy, Nigeria, Indonesia and Kenya joined the conference virtually. Prof. (Dr.) Sadhan K. Ghosh, Director General, ISWMAW and Ex-Dean & Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jadavpur University was the Session Chair. Mr. U. Swaroop, IAS, Director, Directorate of MSME, Govrt. of West Bengal was the Chief Guest and Mr. P. K. Das, Joint Director, MSME-DFO, Kolkata, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India was the Guest of Honour. The programme was attended by more than 150 MSME units from different segments of industries.
