Seminars & Workshops
In its efforts to keep the membership informed and updated, seminars and workshops are periodically organized by the Federation. Joint programmes with other professional bodies and associations are also held. Eminent speakers from industry and government address members on wide ranging subjects of interest followed by interactive sessions.
Hand Holding Support
FOSMI provides handholding support to its members in respect to various areas namely:
• Udyam Registration
• GST
• ZED Registration
• GeM Registration
• TReDS etc.
Trade Fairs
FOSMI has taken
initiatives for taking the delegation from FOSMI to participate in the National
and International Trade Fairs under the schemes of Ministry of MSME, Government
of India to different countries.
Trade Missions
FOSMI’s activities have transcended the national boundary. Delegations have travelled abroad to places like China, Macao and Hongkong, Bangladesh etc. to develop international cooperation.
In the era of Globalization, such international visits that have now become a regular feature of FOSMI’s calendar, provides its member opportunities to develop as entrepreneurs.
Consultancy Services
FOSMI’s range of services offered to its members include the vitally important consultancy services rendered by its professionally qualified consultants on a wide range of subjects ranging from preparation of bankable project reports to start a business through a marketing & export, GST, Factories Act, Labour Laws, etc. to name just a few. This consultancy advice is provided free of cost to its members.
Policy inputs & interaction with Goverment
FOSMI as a industry Federation, is well recognized by Central and State Government and FOSMI has representations in different Committees / Councils and Boards. FOSMI takes up the issues concerning to MSMEs to the appropriate Forum of the Government to redress and also memorandums are forwarded to Government on various policy issues, recommendations in respect to the development of MSMEs time to time as and when needed.
